Julie Hafemeister - Fitness Center Coordinator

Julie expanded upon her interests in physical activity by completing the AAS Fitness Specialist degree at Lane Community College. Through this program she received hands-on training in the development of exercise programs for special populations including the elderly, wheelchair bound, obese, and those with various disabilities or injuries. Julie enjoys helping others improve their quality of life through health and fitness. She strives to educate others while helping them achieve their goals. While participating in team sports and working out are high on her list of hobbies, Julie also enjoys playing various instruments, ballroom and salsa dancing, and studying foreign languages in her free time. She received a B.A. in Romance Languages from the University of Oregon.

Kris Ibrao - Group Fitness Coordinator, Certified Group Fitness Instructor

Certifications: American Council on Exercise (ACE), Body Training Systems (BTS-Group Power), Yogafit, Schwinn Cycling

Kris began teaching Group Fitness classes in 1984. Since that time she has taught a wide variety of classes including STEP, Dance, Kickbox, Yoga, Strength Training, Cycling, and Boot Camp style classes. She has taught fitness classes in schools, college dormitories and corporate business offices as well as in multiple fitness facilities. Kris's passion for exercise stems from her belief that exercise should be part of a life-long commitment to one's personal overall health and wellness for as long as one is able to move. "Prevention really is the best medicine!"

Marra Bennett - Fitness Professional

Marra shares her passion for health and wellness with her clients through lifestyle coaching, including nutrition education, one-on-one exercise prescription, posture and attitude training, and an incorporation of yoga and stability training into classes and personalized programs. She specializes in functional fitness, yoga and flexibility training, injury prevention and recovery, and fun! As an outdoor enthusiast, Marra has dabbled in adventure sports such as rock and ice climbing, surfing, kayaking, and back packing.

Marra studied at Fitness Professionals International where she was certified as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor. She also attended the Integral Yoga Institute, receiving instruction in all eight limbs of yoga. She has more than 8 years of experience as a personal trainer and yoga instructor.

Morgan Watson - Fitness Professional

Morgan grew up in Colorado skiing and backpacking for much of his youth. He has since visited all 7 continents and has climbed 4 of their highest peaks. After meeting his wife at the South Pole, they attended school together to become personal trainers where he developed a belief in a well-rounded approach to fitness in order to be happy and pain free for life. Throughout his many years as a trainer, Morgan has served a wide variety of clientele from surfers in Maui, to skiers in Colorado, to triathletes in Eugene! His training style is built around functional training for optimal achievement of goals. Specialties include training for outdoor sports, triathlons, kettlebell training, pre and post natal exercise, weight loss, and sports nutrition.

Morgan is certified through Fitness Professionals International and ACE, and also holds a certificate in body weight training.
