When looking at our tournament calendar you may notice the different types of tournaments throughout the year. In every section they have different levels of tournaments to fit each and every junior's level of play. The levels in our section are as follows: Rookie, Challenger, and Champs. A "Rookie" tournament is what you may imagine it being from its name. This is for the beginning junior that is new to the game of tennis as well as tournament play. The Challenger player would be the next level up from Rookie. This player has some tournament experience and is continuing his growth at there local Club with occasional group clinics and possibly some private lessons from time to time. The Challenger level is probably easiest described as an intermediate level of play. The "Champs" level is the highest level of play in our section. These players have years of tournament experience most of whom have been taking lessons and playing since a young age. Tennis is usually their primary sport and some even compete at the National Level.

It is important to know that there are guidelines the USTA (United States Tennis Association) has set up which need to be followed when deciding which tournament the players may enter.
